29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation: (a) Materials Center, Coater Line CO-6/4614: The employer failed to provide training to operators who were authorized to conduct roller change out operations and perform cleaning operations on their machines, on or about 9/26/2019. (b) Materials Center, Coater Line CO-6/4614: The employer failed to provide training to wash-up crews who were authorized to assist with roller change out operations and perform cleaning operations on machines, on or about 9/26/2019. c) Materials Center, Coater Line CO-6/4614: The employer failed to provide maintenance employees with training on machine specific procedures, on or about 10/4/2019. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
