29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not free and unobstructed. Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access went through a room that could be locked, to reach an exit or exit discharge. (a) Stock room - On or about October 02, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that the emergency exit was blocked by trash bags and cardboard boxes. Family Dollar was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1352547, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/03/2019, with respect to a workplace located at the Family Dollar in 2925 Headland Drive, East Point, Georgia 30344. Family Dollar was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1377346, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/27/2019, with respect to a workplace located at the Family Dollar in 276 Main Street, Orange, New Jersey 07050.
