Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.600(a)(3)(ii): Equipment parked on an incline did not have the wheels chocked: a) 1233 Hunt Club Lane, Media, PA Employees are exposed to struck-by and or caught-in-between hazards in that the employer does not provide chocks for the employees to use when parking trucks on an incline. An employee did not chock the wheels of the 2006 Mack CL700 triaxle dump when parked on an incline and suffered fatal injuries when attempting to retrieve the truck after it began to roll down the inclined driveway. This condition was noted on or about September 27, 2019.
