29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. On Saturday September 7th 2019, while delivering mail/packages, an employee of the United States Postal Service began experiencing signs and symptoms of a heat related illness. The employee fainted and hit his head on a mailbox. He was admitted to the hospital, and this was not reported to OSHA until Monday September 16th 2019.
