29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns. On or about 17 September 2019, and at times prior thereto, two roofers performing roofing activities on a residence under construction did not have head protection upon descending from the roof, exposing the roofers to the hazard of being struck by falling materials, tools, and equipment from the roof. Onecimo Rivera dba Rivera Roofing Improvement was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1411718, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/15/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2228 Rabbit Creek Drive, Georgetown, TX 78626.
