29 CFR 1910.266(d)(7)(i): Hand signals or audible contact, such as, but not limited to, whistles, horns, or radios, were not utilized whenever noise, distance, restricted visibility, or other factors prevented clear understanding of normal voice communications between employees: (a) 6997 Keene St NW Wooded Area: On or about 09/05/2019 employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when hand signals or audible contact was not used for communication while employees were clearing debris around a manhole during felling operations.
