OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to crushed by hazards: On or about August 29, 2019; and at times prior thereto; employees in the loading bay area, operating a 25-ton overhead crane with an 8-foot spreader bar were exposed to crushed-by hazards. The employer failed to ensure the spreader bar had the capacity to safely lift loads.
