29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii): Each employee on a walking/working surface was not protected from tripping in or stepping into or through holes (including skylights) by covers: On or about 8/12/2019, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 9 feet while performing paint removal on the staircase of a parking garage located at 275 South High Street, Akron, Ohio 44308. The employer did not ensure employees were protected from the fall hazard by securely covering the hole. Nathan Contracting, LP was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1205734, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/25/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 120 West 9th, Erie, PA.
