29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel: A.) On or about Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Terminal 4, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Jamaica, NY 11430 The employer did not ensure that power-operated industrial vehicles (i.e. baggage tugs), not in safe operating condition, used by employees during the loading and unloading of aircraft, were taken out of service. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
