OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: The employer is failing to ensure that employees are adequately protected from hazards. This most recently occurred at 3000 East 8th Street, Columbus, Nebraska 68601 on August 11, 2019. The employer failed to ensure that sufficient training was conducted for task on the Reino 1 Conveyor. An employee reached into the unguarded drain valve to clear starch out, rather than utilizing the tool designed for the task.
