29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report an in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye as a result of a work-related incident to OSHA within twenty-four (24) hours: a. On or about 9:30 AM on August 6, 2019, at 200 Tiger Tail Trail, Cocoa, FL, an employee suffered a work related injury and was hospitalized on the same day of the injury. The employer was aware of the in-patient hospitalization at 11:00 AM on August 6, 2019. The employer notified OSHA on August 12, 2019 at 10:24 AM of the in-patient hospitalization. Acousti Engineering Company of Florida was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1052630, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/17/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 8251 W Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL 33324.
