29 CFR 1910.178(k)(1): The brakes of highway trucks shall be set and wheel chocks were not placed under the rear wheels to prevent the trucks from rolling while they are boarded with powered industrial trucks. a) U.S. Postal Service Distribution Center. 6050 Shallowford Rd., Chattanooga Tn., On or about 5 Aug. 2019, exterior of loading dock. Chock block were not placed to prevent trucks from rolling. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.178(k)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1322276, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/20/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 23800 Cactus Avenue, Building 8, Moreno Valley, CA 92553.
