29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each flight of stairs having at least 3 treads and at least 4 risers is equipped with stair rail systems and handrails as follows: Guardrail systems: Argos USA LLC, Doraville, GA - At the top parking lot steps, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while using stairs having 2 open sides, width less than 44 inches with 4 treads and 5 risers that did not have a mid-rail as part of the stair rail system, on or about April 10, 2019. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
