29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye. a. On or about July 16, 2019, an employee fell from a roof and was hospitalized. The employer was notified of the hospitalization on July 17, 2019, but did not report the employee hospitalization to OSHA until July 22, 2019, which was beyond the 24-hour reporting requirement.
