29 CFR 1910.28(b)(6)(i): Each employee less than 4 feet (1.2 m) above dangerous equipment was not protected from falling into or onto the dangerous equipment by a guardrail system or a travel restraint system, unless the equipment is covered or guarded to eliminate the hazard. a) Production- Calender Area, Autoskin Plant: On or before July 19, 2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to caught-in hazards caused by dropping onto a running machine (rollers) capable of causing injury and impairment. There was no cover on the work platform for the rollers.
