29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) Tower Roof Surface: On or about July 16, 2019, the employer did not ensure fall protection was used while employees were installing the roofing system which exposed employees to falls of 24-feet to the ground below. Wormley Brothers Enterprises was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1363666, citation 1, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 20, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 998 Sunset Boulevard, Jesup, GA 31545. Wormley Brothers Enterprises was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1223685, citation 2, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 20, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 749 W. Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville, GA 31313. Wormley Brothers Enterprises was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1080910, citation 1, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 8, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 7805 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31406.
