29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazard identified in the hazard assessment: On or about 7/18/2019, in the warehouse and outside area at 2505 Mill Center Parkway, Buford, GA: Employees adding water to the cells of the batteries and changing propane tanks on the powered industrial trucks did not use adequate hands and eye personal protective equipment. The employer failed to ensure all affected employees used the personal protective equipment determined during the hazard assessment.
