29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work had the strength and structural integrity to support employees safely: (a) Jobsite- 4 River Road, McKees Rocks, PA: On or about July 8, 2019, the employer failed to assess all areas of the walking/working surface of the roof in order to determine it had the structural strength and stability to support employees. The Bruin Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1307014, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/02/2018, with respect to a workplace located at McCandless Crossing, Block "g", Pittsburgh, PA.
