OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) On or about and at times prior to June 22, 2019, employees engaged in harvesting corn were exposed to heat-related illnesses while working in direct sunlight and exposed to an average Wet Bulb Global Temperature (WBGT) of 93 and an average heat index of 99 .
