Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.250(a)(2)(i): Maximum safe floor load limits were exceeded: a) On or about June 11, 2019 - New Second Floor Box Room, employees were exposed to fall and struck-by hazards when the maximum allowable design floor limit of 150 lbs. per square feet (PSF), exceeded the Dead Load + Live Load Combined Weight per Engineer of Record Drawings. The Live Load of one marinade pallet alone was 153.125 PSF (one pallet was approximately 4 feet by 4 feet or 16 square feet and weighed approximately 2,450 lbs. so 2,450 lbs./16SF equals 153.125 (PSF). The Engineers calculated Dead Load of 96.25 PSF and (a Pallets) Live Load of 153.125 PSF equals 249.375 PSF.
