Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.30(a)(1): (a) Fall hazards. (1) Before any employee is exposed to a fall hazard, the employer must provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems or who is required to be trained as specified elsewhere in this subpart. Employers must ensure employees are trained in the requirements of this paragraph on or before May 17, 2017. The employer did not provide employees exposed to fall hazards with training to ensure they know the hazards and how to properly utilize personal fall protection systems. Employees are required to access the top of part washers and equipment approximately 12 feet in height.
