29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances, severe cuts or lacerations, severe abrasions, punctures, chemical burns, thermal burns, and harmful temperature extremes: On or about April 29, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that employees who work with various knives and cutters as part of their job working on the blow mold presses were wearing puncture resistant gloves and/or arm protection or long sleeves to protect them from punctures, lacerations and severe cuts.
