Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.151(b): In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available: On or about May 28, 2019, and at times prior thereto, at the YO #2 University, employees were performing maintenance and/or repairs on a pump jack. The employer did not ensure that a person or persons was adequately trained to render first aid when required for the treatment of an injured employee.
