29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a- 600 James Street, Lakewood NJ: Company employees were not trained in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions to include but not limited to those associated with the preventing injuires and electrical exposure when working on and around open enclosures containing live bus bars feeding a 480 Volt disconnect without the use of the proper personal protective equipment, lock out/tag out procedures, tools specifically designed for electrical work, etc. Condition observed on or about 05/07/19. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
