29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Canton Town Club: Employer did not ensure that employees performing HVAC repair/maintenance operations on the roof, measuring approximately 11 feet from ground level, used a personal fall arrest system. On April 29, 2019, an employee fell from the roof edge to the pavement below result in broken bones.
