OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a) Geotechnical Laboratory, 13863 Wares Ferry Road, Montgomery AL: On April 12, 2019, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that the employer failed to require employees operating the Hilti DD 200 Core Drilling Machine to secure the machine to the object being drilled as required by the manufactures owner/operators manual instructions.
