29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Lockout / Tagout procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy, in that the lockout device was not under the exclusive control of the authorized employee performing the servicing or maintenance. a) At the air lock, on or about April 8, 2019, the employer did not ensure that control of the energy source powering the blower, was in the control of the employee who was assigned to perform work on the equipment, thereby exposing employee to amputation / caught-in / struck-by hazards.
