29 CFR 1910.22(c): The employer did not provide, and ensure each employee used, a safe means of access to and from walking-working surfaces. a) Roof: Access to working areas on the roof were not provided a safe means of access to working areas. Employees had to travel over pipe chases containing ammonia and concrete wall measuring approximately two feet at its highest point to access the work areas of the roof, on or about 4/10/19. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
