29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii): Special handtools for placing and removing material were not used to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone. Such tools shall not be in lieu of other guarding required by this section, but can only be used to supplement protection provided: On or about April 10, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to amputation hazards while operating a Biro Model 3334 (SN:46495) Meat Saw without using the pusher guard tool. La Michoacana Meat Market was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1365146, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on April 05, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2510 Pleasonton Rd.
