Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. Located at 4554 Larimer Street in Dublin, Ohio: On or about April 6, 2019, employees were performing steel work from the Northeast corner of the buildings fourth floor in order to set and weld a support column. Openings between the exterior stud walls and the guardrail end posts exposed employees to a fall hazard from the third floors unprotected edge. The employer did not ensure that a complete guardrail system was in place
