29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: location: 805 Mamaroneck Ave., Mamaroneck, NY 10543, sidewalk area on or about: 4/9/19 a) An employee was using extension cords to power a Chicago Electric spade handle drill, while engaged in exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) work. One of the extension cords was damaged, with exposed metal showing. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
