29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: a) On or about March 20, 2019, in the shop, the employer did not ensure that the table mounted circular hand-fed ripsaw, Steel City Tool Works 10" Deluxe Saw, Model No. 35639, Serial No. 3306HI, employees were required to use was equipped with a guard. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with an unguarded saw.
