29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and was not distinctive in color: Employees were exposed to tripping, egress and fire hazards in case of emergency and power loss. Employees engaged in cleaning/deburring/testing and other machine shop activities in the Assembly Area (Front Shop) were exposed to tripping, egress and fire hazards in case of emergency and power loss in that the exit signs were not equipped with lighting. a) Exit door at the employee shipping/receiving entrance. b) Exit door at the machine shop area by the wood board. c) Exit door at the machine shop area by the metal cabinet. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
