29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except for training purposes), the employer shall ensure that each operator has successfully completed the training required. Location: Around Bay 205 on the Receiving Side of the Perishables Section Employees were exposed to struck by and caught between hazards while working and a supervisor operated a PIV without successfully completing the practical training or operator evaluation portion of the PIV training.
