29 CFR 1918.98(b)(1): The employer did not ensure that any immediate supervisor of a cargo handling operation of more than five persons did not satisfactorily complete a course in accident prevention: a. On or about March 5, 2019, Old Terminal Dock, JAX-San Juan Bridge barge-1st level. The Foremen and Bossos immediate supervisors to 25 employees to include gang and stevedores did not complete the course on accident prevention for the Trailer Bridge roll-on roll-off (Ro-Ro) operations. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
