29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Padilla Framing, LLC at 3235 Larimer Street, Denver, CO 80205: Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. There were approximately 8 employees working on the second level of an apartment building. Employees not wearing harnesses removed the guard rails protecting an edge of the floor in order to slide a wall in place. These conditions exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 12.5 ft. and led to the fall and subsequent injury of an underage worker.
