29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c): a) 1209-11 South 18th Street: Employees working in an excavation approximately 6 feet deep were exposed to cave-in hazards in that the employer did not ensure that a protective system was installed inside an excavation. Condition was observed on or about 17 AUG 2018.14 FEB 2019. HSC Construction, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1272003, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 17 JUL 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 327 North 17th Street, Philadelphia.
