29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by point of operation. Employees were exposed to impalement and caught between hazards. Machine guarding was not adequate for the following pieces of equipment. b) The filler had a guard that did not prevent access to the point of operation. An employee was able to reach into the machine and was injected in the arm with liquid deodorant. VVF Kansas Services, LLC. Was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1216991, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 19, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1705 Kansas Ave. Kansas City, KS 66105.
