29 CFR 1915.73(d): When employees were exposed to unguarded edges of decks, platforms, flats, or similar flat surfaces, more than 5 feet above a solid surface, the edges were not guarded by adequate guardrails meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1915.71(j)(1) and (2): Riverside Marine Industries (DBA H Hansens Industries) at the worksite located at 1900 Otter River Road Toledo, Ohio 43611: The employer did not ensure the fixed ladder platform located at in the bow of the Erie Trader near the thruster was equipped with adequate guardrails. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with a fall of approximately six feet to a steel floor.
