Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Basic Requirement. Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident. The employer failed to report an amputation injury to OSHA. This most recently occurred at 500 N 48th St, Lincoln, Nebraska, on August 25, 2018 when an employee suffered an amputation to his right index finger. This incident was not reported to OSHA.
