29 CFR 1910.120(q)(1): The employer did not develop and implement an emergency response plan to handle anticipated emergencies prior to commencement of emergency response operations: a) Gen II 100 Room The employer did not implement the emergency response plan for employees responding to a release of chlorine from an open line leading in to the Gen II Room. Chlorine concentrations in the room were measured by direct reading instruments indicated exposures at or above 10 ppm, the level Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health (IDLH). Violation occurred on or about 01/02/2019.
