29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury: a) 801 Boxwood Road, GM Assembly Plant, Wilmington, DE: On or about January 11, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that each employee was provided with instruction in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions related to demolition activities. Employees were not instructed in avoidance of unsafe conditions, such as but not limited to, keeping a safe distance from wire ropes being used in demolition activities where similar wire rope has previously snapped.
