29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees performing truss activities on the upper deck without fall protection on Building 4 working at the Enclave at Roanoke City Centre apartments were exposed to unprotected fall hazards of up to 35 feet to the ground below. The Denis Portillo Barrera was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1185089, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2016 with a final abatement date of October 24, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 4925 Rasor Blvd., Plano, Texas 75024.
