29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a. On or about January 8, 2019, on the roof, employees operating pneumatic nailers to fasten roof shingles were exposed to eye injury hazards from flying particles in that they were not provided protective safety glasses. Great White Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207831, Repeat Serious citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 24, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 30 Milliken Lane, Saint Johns, FL 32080. Great White Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 997948, Repeat Serious citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 228 Melissa Ray Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
