29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(C): Where lockout was used for energy control, the periodic inspection did not include a review, between the inspector and each authorized employee, of that employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected: (a) Building 4, RCL Lines - On machinery and equipment where the employer required authorized employees to use lockout for energy control, for example, at the extruder polish rolls on the RCL lines during cleaning, the periodic inspection did not include a review between the inspector and each authorized employee, of that employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure inspected, exposing employees to hazards, including, but not limited to getting caught in or struck by moving machine parts, on or about December 26, 2018. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
