Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the scope, purpose, authorization, rules, and techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy, including, but not limited to the items of this section: a) Located in Line 1A-S4, procedures for the control of hazardous energy for the Salvagnini S4 were inadequate in that the procedures did not identify the hydraulic energy source which employees were exposed to during certain servicing and maintenance activities including removing scrap, checking for leaks, and adjusting a reference bar. b) On or about 12/27/2019, located in the Pack-out Area, procedures for the control of hazardous energy for the door transfer table and belt conveyors were inadequate in that the procedures had not been updated after installation of a new disconnect and local disconnects were not identified or listed for each conveyor.
