29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms were not kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition. In the following locations at the Goleta Station, housekeeping had not been properly maintained: a) Parcel Distribution Area: Employees were performing parcel sorting operations in areas where dust and/or dirt had accumulated on the return ventilation ductwork. b) Grumman Long Life Vehicles: Employees were performing loading, unloading, and delivering operations inside vehicles where dust and/or dirt had accumulated on surfaces. Employees were exposed to respiratory and hygiene hazards.
