29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i): The employer did not provide and insure the usage of "point of operation guards" or properly applied and adjusted point of operation devices on every operation performed on a mechanical power press: The employer is failing ensure that employees are protected from amputation hazards. This most recently occurred at 3606 Yost Ave., Hastings, Nebraska 68901 on December 3, 2018. The employer failed to ensure that point of operation guarding was used on the Press 58 during setup. An employee reached into the unguarded machine to retrieve a bolt. The machine actuated, causing an amputation of the employees finger.
