29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Circular handfed crosscut table saw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: a) Tables/Material Preparation Department, on or about 12/3/18: Cantek sliding table saw was not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood that completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and the material being cut. On 12/3/18 an employee was operating this saw and received an amputation injury while pushing away a cutoff just behind the saw blade.
