29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(ii)(C): Powered industrial truck operators shall received initial training in the following topics, except in topics which the employer can demonstrate are not applicable to safe operation of the truck in the employer's workplace. Workplace-related topics: Load manipulation, stacking, and unstacking: On or about November 26, 2018 the employer did not ensure employees operating forklift(s) with self-dumping hoppers attached were training in the safe dumping methods to prevent employee exposure to the pinch point hazard created by the rocking motion of the hopper and/or the potential movement of the load against the refuse dumpster.
